The NCOA database validation service is only $95 for each list regardless of size.
According to the United States Postal Service, there are 145 million addresses in the United States and more than 44 million Americans change their addresses each year. Because of these statistics, it is essential that mailing lists are updated on a regular basis to maximize your advertising dollars.
We utilize the NCOALink® Move Update process. If anyone on your list has filled out a change of address form with the US Post Office in the last 4 years, we will be able to update your list with the most up-to-date address information. Once we've run your database through the NCOA software, we can provide you with reports showing your customers name, the old address on file, and the new address. If you would like, we can also email you back the updated version of your list at no additional charge.
Example of why you should use NCOA:
On average, we have found that most lists will have about 5% of their addresses come back with move updates. On a mailing of 10,000 pieces, that is about 500 recipients that will never receive your mail piece. The wasted postage on 500 Standard mail pieces is approximately $115. On First Class mail, the wasted postage comes to about $170.
